I was approached by Alpha Equipment to shoot some pictures of their gear on site for the upcoming 2018 Calendar. I jumped at the chance to capture some high quality gear doing real work in a tough and unforgiving environment.
With possibly the most up to date fleet in the industry, sourced globally, Alpha Equipment has developed into the first point of call for the trades person, builder & civil contractor. Many lines are exclusive whilst others have been especially adapted by manufacturers to be 'rental tough' and meet our company's exacting standards.
Alpha Equipment has had a lot of involvement with the Central Plains Water Scheme with multiple machines working on Stage 2 for extended periods of time.
The Central Plains Water Trust was established by the Christchurch City and Selwyn District Councils to facilitate sustainable development of Central Canterbury’s water resource, and it continues the work of the Central Plains Water Enhancement Steering Committee to develop proposals for a large scale community water enhancement scheme providing water for irrigation between the Rakaia and the Waimakariri Rivers. The Scheme will allow the introduction of an average of 200 Million cubic metres of river water and retirement of existing ground water abstraction.
